Matthew has been a personal strength and conditioning coach for 6 years certified through NASM. Originally from Dallas Texas he was an athlete his entire life, playing football, water polo, lacrosse, and wrestling. After a brutal back injury during a college wrestling tournament, he spent months searching for physical therapy to help cure his injury. Eventually, he discovered the great team at LA Sports and Spine, headed by Dr. Craig Liebenson. After a few months of treatment, he was back on his feet again and discovered his love for physical fitness and the power that proper training has for curing the body. He interned with their team for six months and then became one of their trainers, eventually heading the training program. There, Matthew discovered a missing link in physical training – bridging the gap from injury into achieving one’s best physical ability. Matthew has spent the last 3 years studying under some of the best coaches and doctors to develop and create training systems that allow one coming off the couch or professional tri-athlete to maintain their health, grow out of bad habits, and achieve their peak performance.
